
Panaji, March 21 Archbishop of Goa and Daman, Filipe Neri Cardinal Ferrao, extended greetings to the Muslim community on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, emphasizing the values of compassion, unity, and mutual respect.
In his message, the Archbishop, along with Auxiliary Bishop Simiao Fernandes, said the occasion serves as a reminder to strengthen bonds of friendship and foster harmony among communities.
"As we celebrate the values of compassion, generosity, and unity, let us continue to walk together in friendship and mutual respect, building bridges of understanding for the common good," he said.
Ferrao also prayed for lasting peace and stability in the Gulf countries, given the ongoing situation, and expressed hope that the spirit of Eid would guide people towards greater unity and harmony across the world.
