
Mumbai, March 20 – Bollywood veteran Sanjay Mishra, along with Rajesh Tailang and Dolly Singh, is preparing for his upcoming neo-noir dark comedy, Arjun Bewakoof.
The film, which officially began shooting on March 20th in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, marks the start of production for one of the most intriguing independent projects in development.
Directed by Smita Singh and co-created with Anand Raaj, the film reunites the team behind Andaman, which received critical acclaim for its storytelling and performances.
With Arjun Bewakoof, the makers are venturing into a genre-blending space, combining elements of neo-noir suspense with dark comedy, aiming to push the boundaries often associated with independent cinema in India. The film is produced by 8th Pillars Motion Pictures.
