The Indian Army organized a State Integration Educational Tour today for 33 students from the Army Goodwill School in Gagrian, with the aim of providing educational opportunities and promoting national integration among young people.

The tour, scheduled from March 23 to March 28, 2026, will take students to various historically and culturally significant places across Jammu and Kashmir, enabling them to gain a deeper understanding of the region's rich heritage and diversity.

The tour was launched by the Brigade Commander of the 93 Infantry Brigade, Sachindra Joshi, who encouraged the students to make the most of the opportunity by learning about the history, culture, and traditions of the places they visit.

Student Shakoor Ahmed expressed his enthusiasm for the initiative, stating that it would help students learn more about Jammu and Kashmir and also expose them to different modes of transport, including trains, buses, and airports.

Teacher Zareefa Bano praised the initiative, saying that such programs by the Indian Army play a vital role in fostering educational growth, broadening perspectives, and strengthening the spirit of unity and national integration among young students.
