Srinagar, April 5 An Army soldier died on Sunday after being injured in an accidental discharge of his service weapon at a camp in the Kuwpara district of Jammu and Kashmir, officials said.
The soldier, identified as Jagdeep (24), was injured at the Army camp in the Qalamabad area of the Kupwara district.
Jagdeep was taken to a hospital in Handwara before being transferred to the 92 Base Hospital here in a critical condition. However, he succumbed to his injuries, officials said.
