New Delhi, March 27 Indian Ambassador to Spain, Jayant Khobragade, in his solo exhibition at the Travancore Palace here, has explored themes of nature, mythology, and spirituality.

"Journey with the Divine Flow", curated by Gargi Seth, was inaugurated by Union Minister for Law and Justice, Arjun Ram Meghwal, who praised Khobragade's work and said, "The younger generation should draw inspiration from him."

"Paintings depicting scenes related to Lord Ram have been showcased here. Similarly, scenes related to Lord Krishna, Lord Shiva, and Lord Buddha have also been portrayed through his artwork. The younger generation will find great inspiration in this."

"The subject he has chosen is also excellent. When emotions arise in the mind, especially those connected with divinity, such beautiful creations can emerge from a human being," Meghwal said.

Khobragade's artworks prominently feature divine and mythological forms, inspired by Indian traditions as well as their cultural resonance across Southeast Asia.

Movement and rhythm are another vital aspect of his artistic expression, as figures in his paintings often appear in motion – dancing, playing instruments, or immersed in the interplay of nature, music, and dance.

Nature also dominates Khobragade's paintings through lush green lakeside views, blue mountain valleys, and hillslopes during a snowstorm.

"He has also depicted elements connected with nature through his paintings. I believe this is a very commendable effort. I wish him a bright future, and I hope his efforts bear fruit, that more and more people see his work and draw inspiration from it," Meghwal added.

The exhibition will conclude on April 5.
