In Jammu and Kashmir, the government has initiated steps to establish the J&K Artificial Intelligence Mission (JK-AIM) to promote the use of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies in governance. An Akashvani Jammu correspondent reports that a meeting was held under the chairmanship of Dr. Piyush Singla, Administrative Secretary of the IT Department in Jammu, to discuss this matter. The proposed mission aims to support AI-based solutions such as chatbots, automated grievance systems, and predictive analytics to improve public service delivery. It will operate under the IT Department with a structured governance mechanism. Officials have been directed to prepare a detailed concept note and implementation framework for further consideration.
