
New Delhi, April 10 Ashiana Housing, a real estate firm, has purchased 28.55 acres of land in Pune to develop a senior living housing project, with an estimated revenue of Rs 1,800 crore.
"The company has acquired a piece of land measuring 28.55 acres (approximately) through a direct purchase," in Pune, Maharashtra," Ashiana Housing said in a regulatory filing.
"This is the largest land deal the company has undertaken for the development of a Senior Living project. The approximate saleable area is 20 lakh sq ft, with a potential sales value of Rs 1,800 crore," it added.
Ankur Gupta, a JMD of Ashiana Housing, said the company was looking for land parcels in this area to meet the high demand for senior homes.
Recently, Ashiana Housing Ltd reported that its sales bookings increased by more than two-fold to Rs 1,289.70 crore during the fourth quarter of the last fiscal due to better demand.
Its sales bookings stood at Rs 574.73 crore in the previous year.
Ashiana Housing reported record sales bookings or pre-sales of Rs 2,421.47 crore last fiscal, compared to Rs 1,936.75 crore in the 2024-25 fiscal.
The company sold 26.73 lakh sq ft during the full 2025-26 fiscal.
Ashiana Housing, based in Delhi, is one of the leading real estate developers in the country. It builds homes for senior citizens as well as regular group housing projects. The company has a presence mainly in Delhi-NCR, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, and Jharkhand.
