Ulaanbaatar (Mongolia), March 31 India's Priya recorded a dominant 5-0 victory, while Jadumani Singh fought valiantly on the second day of the Asian Boxing Championships here on Tuesday.
In the women's 60kg category, Priya achieved a unanimous 5-0 victory over Kazakhstan's Rimma Volossenko, demonstrating control and composure throughout the match to advance to the next round.
Priya will face the second-seeded Chengyu Yang from China.
Jadumani fought hard but could not prevent a 2-3 defeat in a split decision against Japan's Rimma Yamaguchi, who is the top seed in the category.
