April 1, New Delhi: PM Modi shared glimpses of his visit to a tea garden in Dibrugarh on X, posting, "The picking of tea leaves was followed by the women sharing about their culture and, of course, a selfie!"
In another post, he wrote, "Tea is the essence of Assam! Tea from here has made its way across the world. This morning in Dibrugarh, I visited a tea garden and interacted with the women working there. It was a very memorable experience."
Prime Minister and senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader Narendra Modi is on a visit to Assam as part of the campaign for the upcoming Assembly elections. Only seven days remain for the polls. Mr. Modi arrived in Dibrugarh yesterday evening around 9 PM.
