Union Home Minister Amit Shah addressed a massive election rally in the Sribhumi district on the final day of campaigning for the Assam Assembly elections, urging voters to support BJP candidate Krishnendu Paul. The rally was held in the Patharkandi constituency.
In his address, Amit Shah urged the public to vote for Krishnendu Paul, stating that his victory is essential for the continued development and progress of Assam. He reiterated that the BJP remains committed to making Assam free from infiltration.
The Union Minister also appealed to voters to participate in the polling on April 9 and strengthen the BJP. Criticizing the Congress party, he remarked that people should vote in such a way that the party becomes virtually invisible in the electoral landscape.
A large number of supporters present at the rally expressed strong support for the BJP and pledged to ensure Krishnendu Paul's victory in the constituency.
The home minister also attended an election rally in Hailakandi, which will be followed by another rally in the Cachar district.
