April 7, Kohima: The Director General of the Assam Rifles, Lieutenant General Vikas Lakhera, visited key leaders in Nagaland today.
He met with Nagaland Governor Nand Kishore Yadav at Lok Bhavan in Kohima, where they discussed issues related to security and development in Nagaland. Governor Yadav praised the vital role of the Assam Rifles in maintaining peace and stability in the region.
Separately, Lieutenant General Lakhera also met with Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio in Kohima. The meeting highlighted the crucial role played by the Assam Rifles in maintaining peace, security, and stability in the region.
