Panaji, March 10 Goa Speaker Ganesh Gaonkar warned ministers on Tuesday against disruptive behavior during the ongoing state assembly session, including shouting and ridiculing members.
The Speaker, who did not refer to any specific instance, stated that he had observed a recurring pattern of ministers making personal accusations, threatening, and taunting legislators.
"Such conduct is unethical and violates the solemn oath of office taken under the Third Schedule of the Indian Constitution, which guides ministers to perform their duties ethically," Gaonkar said.
The Goa assembly session began on March 6 and will conclude on March 27.
