February 25, Srinagar: A fish farm was completely destroyed in a fire that broke out overnight in the Athwatoo area of Bandipora district, officials said.
Locals spotted the flames and alerted the Fire and Emergency Services, which responded quickly and began firefighting operations. After sustained efforts, the fire was brought under control.
The cause of the fire was not immediately known. No injuries or fatalities were reported.
