Adelaide, March 11 – Diksha Dagar will once again lead the Indian challenge as the Ladies European Tour remains in Australia with the Women's Australian Open. Three other Indians, Pranavi Urs, Avani Prashanth, and Hitaashee Bakshi, have also been competing in Australia, but this week Vani Kapoor will also be participating as an invitee.

Therefore, there will be five Indians in the field this week.

Diksha's impressive performance last week, which placed her in the top 5, has earned her a spot in the top 10 of the Order of Merit, giving her a significant boost in confidence.

This week, Major champions Hannah Green, Grace Kim, and Minjee Lee will be the headliners in Adelaide, which is hosting the tournament for the first time since 2020.

Beyond the Major champions, there are other exciting players to watch, including Kelsey Bennett, who recently achieved a "special" maiden victory on the Ladies European Tour (LET).

The 26-year-old secured her first win on the circuit at the Australian Women's Classic, holding her nerve on the final day to win by four strokes in front of her family and friends.

Now, heading into her home open at Kooyonga Golf Club, Bennett, who leads the 2026 LET Order of Merit, is expected to be brimming with confidence as she tees off alongside a strong field of Australian players.

Bennett is one of 31 Australians competing in this week's Women's Australian Open, alongside World No. 4 Minjee Lee, World No. 9 Hannah Green, Major champion Grace Kim, and two-time LET winner Stephanie Kyriacou.

The Women's Australian Open is back on the LET schedule this week for the first time since 2016. The stunning Kooyonga Golf Club in Adelaide is hosting the event, and Bennett expects a challenging competition for all.

A prize fund of $1.7 million Australian dollars is up for grabs for the 144 players competing.

Kooyonga Golf Club is the venue for this week, and it's a new course for Kyriacou, but she is looking forward to playing in her home open.
