Authority Clarifies Reports on Fuel Inventory Requests

Authority Clarifies Reports on Fuel Inventory Requests.webp

The Airports Authority of India (AAI) has categorically denied media reports claiming it has requested information on aviation turbine fuel (ATF) stock levels at international airports. In a social media post, AAI stated that it has not formally or informally requested any airport operator to provide details regarding fuel stocks or estimated fuel requirements.

It added that the reports suggesting such communication are false and factually incorrect. AAI has reiterated that it operates strictly within its defined mandate. AAI is an airport operator and navigation service provider, and does not exercise oversight over fuel inventories.

AAI stated that it remains committed to the safe, secure, and efficient management of airport infrastructure.
