
KISHTWAR, FEBRUARY 18: SBI RSETI Kishtwar organized an awareness campaign called "Jagruta Pakhwada" at Kundal Paddar, under the direction of Deputy Commissioner Pankaj Kumar Sharma, to promote financial literacy and entrepreneurship among young people.
Director Sanjay Kumar highlighted the short-term skill development programs offered by the institute, along with boarding, lodging, and credit linkage support for self-employment. He encouraged young people to enroll and improve their employability.
Officials also shared details about upcoming computer training batches and urged Panchayat representatives to sponsor local candidates.
Awareness was provided on key social security schemes, including the Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, and Atal Pension Yojana, as well as self-employment initiatives such as the Prime Minister's Employment Generation Programme and the Jammu and Kashmir Rural Employment Generation Programme.
Participants were also made aware of KYC compliance, pension and insurance benefits, and cyber fraud prevention. The program saw enthusiastic participation from students and staff.
