
Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated today that India's healthcare infrastructure has significantly strengthened in recent years. Speaking at the post-budget webinar on "Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas" – Fulfilling the Aspirations of the People, Mr. Modi emphasized that fulfilling the aspirations of the people is not just a matter of discussion, but the very foundation of the budget and the government's commitment. He highlighted that the country is working towards a vision of preventive and holistic healthcare, with hundreds of new medical colleges opening in various districts. The Prime Minister noted that through the Ayushman Bharat Yojana and Arogya Mandir, healthcare services are being expanded to villages across the country, while India's traditions of yoga and Ayurveda are gaining worldwide popularity. Emphasizing the growth of the care economy, PM Modi said that the increasing global demand for caregivers is creating new, skill-based employment opportunities for millions of young people in the country.
