Los Angeles, March 9 – Award-winning actor Christian Bale, who plays the monster in The Bride!, revealed that he still has many films he wants to watch.
The 52-year-old actor revealed that he wants to see Jacob Elordi's portrayal of the same character in Guillermo del Toro's Frankenstein (at 61 years old).
Bale told people.com: "I hear it's fantastic. I just don't watch that many movies."
He also mentioned wanting to see Jessie Buckley, his co-star in The Bride!, as Agnes Hathaway, the wife of playwright and poet William Shakespeare, in Hamnet, for which she won the Best Leading Actress award at the 2026 Actor Awards and BAFTAs, according to femalefirst.co.uk.
Bale said: "I just know Jessie from The Bride!."
However, Buckley is familiar with Bale's work.
The actress, who hopes her winning streak at recent awards shows will continue at the Oscars on March 15, said: "I think The Fighter is extraordinary. The Machinist is also a great film. I don't think anyone has created a character like that before."
Buckley is full of praise for the "incredible" Bale, according to femalefirst.co.uk.
She added: "When you work with Christian, you're going to be working with someone incredible. You're going to have to stand beside and fill a space opposite this amazing artist, but I love him dearly.
"I think he's the most incredible actor, and I feel so lucky to have worked with him."
Elsewhere, Bale has warned fans not to meet him, as they will face "terrible disappointment".
When asked if he has ever been starstruck and lost his cool around another celebrity, the American Psycho star told Entertainment Tonight: "I'm never cool. Not in those situations. I don't want to meet people I see in films, I don't want to meet my heroes.
"I see it in people's eyes when they've watched my movies and loved them, and then they meet me, and I see their disappointment. And it's true, what a disappointment. That's me at my best in the movie. Never meet me, and I never want to meet my heroes either, because they are heroic in what they do. Give them a break, nobody can be a hero all the time."
