
The Passport Seva Project will hold a special passport service drive on March 14 at centers in Anantnag and Baramulla to address the rising demand for services.
Mar 13, Srinagar: The Passport Seva Project (PSP) under the Ministry of External Affairs will conduct a special passport service drive on March 14, 2026, to address the increasing demand for passport services in the region.
As part of the initiative, the Passport Office Srinagar will facilitate passport application processing at the Post Office Passport Seva Kendra in Anantnag and Post Office Passport Seva Kendra in Baramulla, which will remain operational on the specified date.
Regional Passport Officer Srinagar, B. S. Rawat, said that the special drive has been organized to assist applicants facing delays due to high demand and to provide faster access to passport services.
Applicants can avail the facility by booking an appointment through the official Passport Seva portal and selecting their preferred location – Anantnag or Baramulla – along with the available time slot for the specified date.
Applicants have been advised to visit the designated center at the scheduled time with their appointment confirmation and carry all required original documents.
