Bareilly (UP), April 4 Two young men were killed after their motorcycle collided with an electric pole in the Bareilly district, police said on Saturday.
The incident occurred on Friday night after Rohit Sharma (25), a resident of Budaun district, went to meet his friend Amit Sharma (18) in Bisharatganj on his motorcycle, Circle Officer (Aonla) Nitin Kumar said.
Later that night, Rohit and Amit set out for Devchara when their motorcycle collided with a pole inside an underpass near Rampura village within the Bhamaura police station limits, Kumar said.
Police shifted the severely injured duo to the district hospital, where doctors declared them dead, the officer said.
