Chennai, April 2 – Malayalam director Tharun Moorthy posted a heartfelt message of gratitude to the team of his upcoming film, tentatively titled #L366, which stars Malayalam superstar Mohanlal in the lead role, on Thursday.
On his Instagram page, Tharun Moorthy wrote, "(The) Producer and Director are often referred to as the father and mother of a film. But no child grows solely on love; it takes an entire ecosystem to nurture it into something meaningful and beautiful for the world."
He continued, "For us, that ecosystem is everything. We didn't just make a film. We cared for it, nurtured it, and loved it as if it were our own. And in that journey, it was our team that became its heart. Every member of the crew poured their passion, their sleepless nights, and their unwavering belief into it."
"Together, we became more than just a crew. We became a living, breathing force – one vision, one rhythm, one shared soul. That energy didn't just surround us, it consumed us… making us think about cinema, breathe cinema, and live it in every moment. This film carries all of us within it," he explained.
"To our incredible crew – this isn't just a thank you, it's a piece of our heart. These 55 days were more than just work; they were a journey we'll carry forever. And somehow, this feels like just the beginning. The days ahead… they hold something even more beautiful," he concluded.
It may be recalled that the director had, in February this year, confirmed that the first schedule of his eagerly awaited film, tentatively titled #L366 and starring Malayalam superstar Mohanlal in the lead role, had been completed.
The director also used the occasion to point out that he had completed five years in the film industry on February 12.
Malayalam actress Meera Jasmine plays the female lead in this film, which has generated huge expectations among fans and film enthusiasts. Malayalam superstar Mohanlal plays the role of a police officer named T S Lovelajan in the film.
The film has generated huge expectations as the acclaimed director has collaborated with Malayalam superstar Mohanlal again for this project, following the phenomenal success of their blockbuster film titled 'Thudaram'.
