Bengal Elections: BJP Raises Law & Order Concerns.webp

BJP leader and Union Minister Dr. Virendra Kumar led a party delegation to officials at the Election Commission of India (ECI) today to discuss the law and order situation during elections in West Bengal. The party has alleged that a climate of fear and chaos is being created in the state. Later, speaking to the media, Mr. Kumar stated that these conditions are fostering distrust towards the country's constitutional institutions. Dr. Kumar said that the delegation approached the election body to demand that the elections in West Bengal are conducted in a free and fair manner, ensuring that people can exercise their democratic rights without fear. He added that the Election Commission has assured that adequate steps will be taken to ensure peaceful and fair elections in the state.
