
Bengaluru, March 18 The Bengaluru Police have booked 22 riders for allegedly performing stunts on two-wheelers in the city, officials said on Wednesday.
The operation took place on March 17, coinciding with the Shab-e-Qadr festival. A special drive was conducted to identify riders performing stunts on two-wheelers, they said.
Officers and staff from the K R Puram Traffic Police Station conducted the drive while patrolling within the station limits, particularly near Old Madras Road, Battarahalli Junction, and Medahalli Bridge, the police said.
During the drive, police personnel identified 22 riders who were performing stunts on two-wheelers, a senior police officer said.
All 22 two-wheelers were seized, and upon inquiry, it was found that all the riders were adults, he said.
Subsequently, 22 separate FIRs were registered against the riders, and legal action has been initiated as per law, he added.
