Bengaluru Seminar Discusses Future Warfare Strategies.webp

April 09, New Delhi – The second edition of Ran Samwad 2026, a leading Tri-Service seminar, began today at the Air Force Training Command in Bengaluru.

The seminar, focused on "Multi-Domain Operations: An Imperative for Addressing Conventional and Irregular Threats," brings together top military officials to discuss future warfare strategies. The impact of technology in warfare was notably visible in the recent Iran-US-Israel conflict.

Today, Chief of Defence Staff General Anil Chauhan, Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi, Navy Chief Admiral Dinesh Tripathi, and top commanders of the three services are speaking in Bengaluru on the lessons learned from the conflict in West Asia.

Earlier in the morning, General Upendra Dwivedi visited Hindustan Aeronautics Limited in Bengaluru, reviewing key platforms such as the Advanced Light Helicopter 'Dhruv' and the Light Combat Helicopter 'Prachand', along with upgrade, maintenance, and production systems supporting Army Aviation. During the visit, General Dwivedi undertook a flight in the LCH Prachand, experiencing firsthand its superior performance and combat capabilities.

India's first indigenously designed attack helicopter, Prachand, is designed for high-altitude warfare above 6,000 metres. Its advanced avionics, precision weapons, and survivability features make it ideal for close air support, anti-armour missions, and armed reconnaissance.
