Student from Golaghat found dead, police begin investigation
The body of a 9th-grade student was found in Bengenakhowa village in Golaghat district, Assam, on Tuesday.
The deceased has been identified as Sallu Mallik, son of Shyamal Mallik, who lives on Station Road. Police, along with a forensic team and a magistrate, recovered the body from the scene. It was later sent to Jorhat Medical College for an autopsy.
Police have launched an investigation into the incident. The mysterious death has cast a shadow over the entire area.
