Mumbai, April 8 Actor Babil Khan, the son of the late acclaimed star Irrfan Khan, has shared his thoughts on meditation, stating that it shouldn't be treated as a mere activity.
Babil emphasized that for him, meditation goes far beyond a routine practice; it's a state of being. He explained that meditation should not be viewed as a separate activity or a task to be completed.
Babil said: "You shouldn't do meditation as an act; you should set your mindset in your body in such a way that it happens automatically throughout the day."
He added: "You have to be comfortable with who you are, not to fight against who you are. You just need to set that mindset so that you can face the day with that confidence. It's also about loving yourself. First, you need to accept yourself."
Babil has now returned to the sets as he has started filming for his next project, "Bhopal." Earlier this month, he shared a clip of himself in a vanity van and wrote: "Back to work, time to make you proud again."
Details about the project are still under wraps. The actor, who started as a camera assistant in the Bollywood film "Qarib Qarib Single," also took up training in Muay Thai in Thailand.
Babil made his acting debut with the film "Qala," starring Tripti Dimri, and received praise for his performance. After "Qala," he appeared in "Friday Night Plan," where he played the role of actress Juhi Chawla's son, Siddharth Menon.
Babil gained fame with the series "The Railway Men," which tells the story of the Bhopal Gas Tragedy, alongside Divyendu Sharma, Kay Kay Menon, and R. Madhavan.
However, he took a 6-month break from work and social media after appearing visibly upset and emotional while talking about feeling alienated in the film industry.
