BHADERWAH, FEBRUARY 23: Students, research scholars, and faculty of the Computer Science Department, Bhaderwah Campus, expressed pride and motivation following the success of the AI Impact Summit 2026.
The department, known for its focus on Artificial Intelligence despite its remote location, recently won recognition at the National Hackathon Innovathon 1.0 for an AI model to track missing tourists. Over the past five years, they have also developed AI solutions in the health sector, including models for oncology and cancer patients.
Dr. Ashok Sharma, Head of the Department, said the achievements inspire continued innovation, while students highlighted their resolve to develop AI models for societal benefit.
