DODA, March 16, 2026: Fresh snowfall in the upper reaches of Bhalesa has caused a significant drop in temperatures despite being mid-March. While areas at higher altitudes experienced snowfall, the plains received rainfall.
As a precautionary measure, authorities have ordered the closure of all schools across the Doda district, except those located within the municipal limits of Doda.
