Mumbai, February 26 – Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has shared a thought-provoking note, where he discussed what he termed as "prosthetic wisdom" and the human tendency to misunderstand deeper truths.
Big B posted on his blog, where he shared a picture of himself as the character of Ashwatthama from the upcoming film "Kalki 2".
The film icon shared that sometimes what is written or said "goes for a bouncer," with the real meaning failing to register. He hinted that certain truths, no matter how clearly expressed, are not easily understood, adding that perhaps that is simply the way of the world.
"Everything that was written, went for a bouncer, Yes, Lord, a bouncer. No one understood what was being said, which is good. Some things, no matter how you say them, don't make sense to people; that's the way of the world. Well, let it be (sic)."
Reflecting on knowledge and achievement, he wrote: "You can never be the wisest, the most knowledgeable, or the most accomplished human ever. There will always be someone better than you. Know it, accept it, and continue to learn (sic)."
The veteran actor also emphasized that it is far better to focus on one's own abilities and push oneself towards personal horizons rather than attempting to step into someone else's life to acquire what can never truly be yours.
"It's better to focus on your own abilities and strive towards personal horizons rather than trying to step into someone else's life to acquire something that can never truly be yours. Delve deep into your strengths and push yourself to the limit. Which, incidentally, never gets reached. Oh! What a lovely world we live in – prosthetic wisdom (sic)!!!"
