Patna, April 2 Union Minister Chirag Paswan said on Thursday that RJD national working president Tejashwi Yadav should "feel ashamed" for allegedly making derogatory remarks against Bihar at an election rally in Kerala.
The LJP (Ram Vilas) leader claimed that Yadav had described Bihar as one of the "poorest states in the country" while campaigning for Left Democratic Front (LDF) candidates in the southern state.
Speaking to reporters here, Paswan said, "These people are responsible for the poor condition of Bihar. They should feel ashamed that they are saying such things about the state in other parts of the country."
He said the people of Bihar "rejected their (RJD's) rhetoric" in the 2025 assembly polls. They will meet a similar fate in future elections as well, Paswan said.
