
Bilaspur (HP), March 28 Ten people were injured when their bus lost control and veered off the road here on Saturday morning, police said.
The Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) bus, carrying 25 passengers, was on its scheduled route from Bilaspur to Dharamshala when the accident occurred.
On Saturday, the bus was travelling on its scheduled route through Ghumarwin, Bharari, and Ladroar, heading towards the rural area. As the bus approached Ghandalvi, the driver lost control of the vehicle.
According to eyewitnesses, the bus's high speed caused it to cross a roadside drain and land in the fields, causing a severe jolt.
The injured passengers were rescued with the help of locals. After receiving first aid, all the injured are reported to be in stable condition.
Police have registered a case, and further investigation is underway, police added.
