
The High Commissioner of India to Bangladesh, Pranay Verma, paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Tarique Rahman today, highlighting efforts to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries. During the meeting, both sides discussed avenues for enhancing bilateral engagement, with a particular focus on people-centric cooperation across multiple sectors. According to a social media update from the Indian mission in Bangladesh, High Commissioner Verma conveyed India's intent to work closely with the government and people of Bangladesh through a positive, constructive, and forward-looking approach.
