Bilateral Engagement Strengthened: India & Iceland.webp

Secretary (West) of the Ministry of External Affairs, Sibi George, met with the Foreign Minister of Iceland, Þorgerður Katrín Gunnarsdóttir, today. In a social media post, the Ministry of External Affairs stated that both sides discussed the implementation of the India-EFTA Trade and Economic Partnership Agreement. It also added that the discussions focused on issues of bilateral, regional, and multilateral interest, as well as the positive progress made in bilateral engagement in recent years, particularly in the geothermal, fisheries, and clean energy sectors.
