
February 18, New Delhi – Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with Estonian President Alar Karis for bilateral talks in New Delhi on the sidelines of the India AI Impact Summit 2026.
The meeting followed their first-ever bilateral interaction, which took place a year earlier in Paris. The leaders focused on strengthening ties in artificial intelligence and digital governance, leveraging Estonia's "e-Estonia" legacy alongside India's growing digital infrastructure.
Discussions also included expanding cooperation in IT, cybersecurity, trade and investment, and innovation.
