
Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla interacted with the participants of the 37th International Training Programme in Legislative Drafting at the Parliament House today. In a social media post, Mr. Birla stated that officials from 15 countries attended the training program, which is being organized by PRIDE under the Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) framework. The Lok Sabha Speaker noted that the participants' keen interest in legislative processes and democratic systems was truly encouraging. He also highlighted that the participants appreciated the opportunity to gain practical exposure and exchange global perspectives, making it a meaningful and insightful experience. The four-week training program provides a valuable platform to understand India's constitutional framework, law-making process, and drafting practices.
