Kolkata, March 24 – Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President Nitin Nabin, who is currently on a two-day visit to West Bengal amidst the upcoming two-phase state assembly elections, delivered a clear message to the party's state unit on Tuesday, stating that the BJP was determined to achieve victory in this election.

"Nitin Nabin also held several 'high-level strategic meetings' with the leaders of the state BJP unit to strengthen the party's digital, social, and ground-level outreach. He also engaged in intensive consultations with the narrative team. By holding a high-level meeting with top state leaders, Union Ministers, and senior office bearers of the organization, Nitin Nabin sent a clear signal that the BJP was determined to leave no stone unturned in its quest for victory," the party said in a statement on Tuesday evening.

Meanwhile, a member of the state BJP committee said that Nitin Nabin's visit to West Bengal was not just for a review of the situation, but also for formulating a comprehensive strategy to transform the BJP's election campaign in the state into a highly effective process.

"He (Nitin Nabin) is scheduled to interact not only with the core leaders of the BJP this time, but also with leaders and party workers at different levels to make the campaign process an effective tool against the current state government and the ruling Trinamool Congress," the State BJP committee member added.

He also said that during the series of meetings throughout the day, the BJP President emphasized the need to focus on booth management, micro-level planning, and local issues to sharpen the election campaign.

"Special attention is now being given to the areas where the BJP had faced weaknesses in the past," the state BJP committee member said.

According to the BJP committee member, Nitin Nabin's current visit to West Bengal is part of a broader strategy by the central leadership of the party to intensify electoral activities in West Bengal.

"After his arrival, the political landscape in West Bengal is likely to become more interesting. Following this visit, it is expected that the political balance in the state will change, and a new picture can be seen in the upcoming elections," he added.
