
New Delhi, April 4 The BJP on Saturday announced its fifth list of five candidates for the upcoming Assembly elections in West Bengal.
According to the list, Saurav Sikdar will contest the Dum Dum Uttar seat, Taraknath Chatterjee will contest from Krishnanagar Uttar, Anupam Biswas from Kalyani, Anindya Raju Banerjee from Madhyamgram, while Rudraprasad Banerjee will contest the Uluberia Purba seat.
With this, the BJP has released the names of 292 candidates for the 294 seats in West Bengal, which will go to polls in two phases – on April 23 and April 29. The results will be announced on May 4.
The ruling Trinamool Congress has already announced candidates for all the 294 seats.
