
Jaipur, April 6 Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma on Monday said the BJP works with a spirit of national interest and service.
He also asked party workers to remain connected with the public and take the party's ideology to every section of society, further strengthening it.
Addressing a gathering at the party's state headquarters here on the BJP's 47th Foundation Day, Sharma said, "The BJP is a party committed to national interest, development, and service. It is due to the hard work, dedication, and service of its workers that the party has emerged as the largest political force not only in the country but in the world."
Encouraging the party members to work among the masses, he said, "We have governments at both the Centre and the state. We must work among the people with full strength and make our party invincible."
Recalling the party's journey from the days of the Bharatiya Jana Sangh, Sharma said the growth of the organisation is the result of tireless efforts by its cadre.
"For us, the nation comes first, followed by the party," he added.
State BJP president Madan Rathore, who was also present, highlighted the party's history and achievements, and said it had always prioritized national interest.
He urged the party workers to be geared up with full energy for the upcoming local body elections, assuring that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the BJP is accelerating development and cultural nationalism.
Rathore said both the Centre and the state governments are working continuously towards making the country and the state self-reliant while enhancing India's global stature.
Sharma and Rathore also hoisted the party flag on the occasion, which was attended by a large number of party leaders and workers.
