BJP Promises Investigation into Illegal Immigration in Bengal

BJP Promises Investigation into Illegal Immigration in Bengal.webp

Kolkata, April 9 – Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated on Thursday that if the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) comes to power in West Bengal after the upcoming state assembly elections next month, there will be a special investigation to identify those who had been facilitating illegal immigrants to enter the state and settle here.

“I assure the people of Bengal that once the BJP government is formed in the state, there will be a special investigation into the issue of infiltration. We will investigate and identify those who supported and facilitated the infiltration. No one will be spared. In addition, we will also drive the infiltrators out of Bengal,” the Prime Minister said while addressing a campaign rally in Suri, Birbhum district, West Bengal.

This was the third campaign rally that the Prime Minister addressed on Thursday, with the first two being in Haldia, East Midnapore district, and the other in Asansol, West Burdwan district.

Speaking at the event, he also stated that crude bomb factories have become synonymous with cottage industries in West Bengal during the Trinamool Congress regime.

“The Trinamool Congress is establishing crude bomb factories in every corner of the state. The Trinamool Congress government has turned this into a cottage industry. The real small industrial units have closed in the state, and they have been replaced by crude bomb factories. However, I guarantee that all these bomb factories will be shut down once the BJP comes to power in West Bengal,” the Prime Minister said.

Claiming that state-run schools in West Bengal had been closing down one after another during the current regime, the Prime Minister said that this is being deliberately done since the ruling party in the state does not want young people to get educated.

“Closing down schools means a dark future for the next generation. I am sure that the young generation will free West Bengal of this anarchy this time,” the Prime Minister said.

He also stated that the arrogance of Trinamool Congress is evident from the recent event where even President Droupadi Murmu was insulted in the state.

“This is their level of arrogance, and that the state government does not even show respect to the President of the country,” the Prime Minister added.
