As a humanitarian gesture, soldiers from an Army unit stationed along the border in Rajouri organized a blood donation camp to assist patients in need.
During the camp, Army personnel donated nearly 20 bottles of blood to the Rajouri Government Hospital to support patients, particularly those undergoing cancer treatment and victims of road accidents.
With the hospital facing a shortage of blood, the Army soldiers voluntarily stepped forward to donate blood and provide support to the local community. This initiative was widely appreciated by hospital authorities and local residents, who described it as a commendable effort towards saving lives.
Doctors at the Rajouri Government Hospital expressed their gratitude to the Army personnel for their generous contribution, stating that the donated blood would be highly beneficial during emergencies, especially for cancer patients and those injured in road accidents. They also praised the Army for taking such a humanitarian initiative for the welfare of the public.
