
Bengaluru, March 18 The Microbiology Department at BMCRI has received NABL accreditation for a period of four years, officials said on Wednesday.
The department at Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute (BMCRI) has been providing high-quality services for the past ten years, according to a statement from the office of Medical Education Minister Sharan Prakash Patil.
The department has expanded significantly from conducting just three tests in 2016 to conducting 66 tests in 2026, the statement said.
A certificate has been issued under the medical testing category, and senior officials from the department of medical education stated that the National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL) accreditation will remain valid until 2030, the minister's office added.
