Mumbai, February 27 – Bollywood superstar Kareena Kapoor Khan delighted her fans by showcasing her simple yet elegant bindi in her recent social media post, adding a touch of Sridevi's signature style.
Kareena shared a close-up selfie, featuring a delicate red bindi on her forehead, along with subtle makeup and a traditional outfit.
The actress was seen posing inside a car, striking a pose for the selfie. For the background music of her post, she chose "Meri Bindiya," the iconic song from the superhit movie 'Lamhe' starring the late Sridevi.
Released in 1991, 'Lamhe' was directed by Yash Chopra and also starred Anil Kapoor in the lead role. The film featured Sridevi in a dual role, as Pallavi and later as her daughter Pooja.
The storyline revolved around a young man who falls in love with an older woman, and years later finds himself drawn to her daughter, played again by Sridevi.
Sridevi was widely regarded as one of the finest actresses in Indian cinema. She delivered a memorable performance in the film.
