Communications Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia met with Ireland's Minister for Public Service Reform and Digitalisation, Jack Chambers, in New Delhi today. The leaders discussed India's transformative digital journey, from initiatives like DPI, UPI, and DBT to the expansion of 5G, and explored deeper cooperation in areas such as quantum communications, artificial intelligence, regulatory innovation, and rural broadband. In a social media post, Mr. Scindia stated that India and Ireland, as dynamic, innovation-driven democracies, can build a strong and future-ready digital partnership. He also sought Ireland's support for India's candidature at the International Telecommunication Union, including India's proposal to host PP 2030.
