Lucknow, March 22 The Uttar Pradesh government will launch the upgraded single-window portal 'Nivesh Mitra 3.0' on Tuesday to enhance ease of doing business and accelerate industrial growth in the state, officials said on Sunday.
The initiative is aimed at fast-tracking investment projects and supporting the state's ambition of becoming a $1 trillion economy.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will launch the new platform on March 24 at Lok Bhawan here.
On the occasion, the chief minister will also unveil the 'UP Private Business Park Development Scheme-2025' and the 'Plug-and-Play Industrial Sheds Scheme' under a public-private partnership framework.
Officials said the new schemes would offer ready-to-operate infrastructure to investors, reducing project timelines and improving efficiency.
According to a press statement, the Nivesh Mitra 3.0 has been designed as a next-generation platform to provide a faster, transparent, and investor-friendly interface for approvals and clearances required to set up enterprises. The upgraded portal builds on the earlier version by streamlining services to fewer than 200 across over 40 departments, significantly reducing redundancies.
Among key features, the platform includes AI-powered chatbots for instant assistance, real-time SMS alerts, a dynamic Combined Application Form, GIS-enabled land banks, and end-to-end online tracking of proposals from inception to commercial production.
It will also be integrated with the National Single Window System to facilitate coordination between central and state agencies.
Procedural reforms under the new system include a reduction of nearly 25 per cent in application fields, 15 per cent fewer document requirements, and about 20 per cent fewer procedural steps, making the approval process quicker and more user-friendly, officials said.
Since its launch in 2018, the Nivesh Mitra portal has processed over 21 lakh applications with a disposal rate of 97 per cent, emerging as a key tool for investment facilitation in the state.
State Finance Minister Suresh Khanna, Industrial Development Minister Nand Gopal Gupta, and other senior officials will be present at the event, the officials added.
