March 29, New Delhi: Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal met with ministers and ambassadors from the Africa Group on the sidelines of the World Trade Organization's 14th Ministerial Conference (MC-14) in Cameroon.
The discussions reaffirmed the deep-rooted civilizational and historical ties between India and African nations, along with their growing trade relations.
Leaders exchanged views on enhancing bilateral trade and deliberated on key issues related to the MC-14 agenda.
The talks also focused on boosting investments, including expanding India's investment footprint across Africa, with an emphasis on strengthening economic cooperation.
