A breastfeeding room was inaugurated at Biswanath Railway Station in Assam on Thursday as part of efforts to promote women's welfare and childcare.
The facility was launched by MLA Pramod Borthakur in collaboration with the District Administration and a women's empowerment center.
A meeting to raise awareness about breast cancer was also organized during the event. District Social Welfare Officer Moinul Haque, cancer specialist Dr. Shatabdi Bora, and Biswanath Anchalik Panchayat president Kandarp Hazarika were among those present.
