March 17, New Delhi: Today's proceedings in the Indian Parliament will focus on key financial matters and discussions among ministers in both houses. In the Lok Sabha, further discussion and voting will take place on the grants demanded by the Ministry of Railways for the fiscal year 2026-27.
Discussion and voting on the grants demanded by the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare for the fiscal year 2026-27 is also scheduled for today. In the Rajya Sabha, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the Appropriation Bill, 2026, as passed by the Lok Sabha, for consideration and return.
Furthermore, further discussion on the functioning of the Ministry of Rural Development, raised by K. Laxman on March 10, is also scheduled for today.
