March 10, New Delhi – The Lok Sabha on Tuesday discussed a resolution seeking the removal of Speaker Om Birla during the Budget Session.
Participating in the debate, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju refuted the opposition's allegations, stating that Speaker Om Birla had conducted the proceedings of the House in an impartial manner.
Minister Rijiju said that during Birla's tenure as Speaker of the Lok Sabha, several reforms had been implemented, and the maximum number of issues had been raised during Zero Hour.
