The Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly passed three key Appropriation Bills today during the ongoing Budget Session. Akashvani Jammu correspondent reports that earlier, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah moved the bills for consideration and passage. The bills include: A Bill to authorize payment and appropriation of certain further sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir for the services of the financial year 2025–2026 (L.A. Bill No. 04 of 2026); A Bill to authorize payment and appropriation of certain further sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir for the services of the financial year 2025–2026 (L.A. Bill No. 06 of 2026); and A Bill to authorize payment and appropriation of certain sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of the Union Territory of J&K for the services of the financial year 2026–2027” (L.A. Bill No. 05 of 2026).
