
New Delhi, March 19 A fire broke out at the Trade and Taxes building in central Delhi's ITO on Thursday morning, prompting authorities to dispatch six fire tenders to the scene, according to an official from the Delhi Fire Services.
So far, there have been no reports of casualties or injuries.
A call regarding the fire was received at 8:36 am, after which six fire tenders were rushed to the scene, he added, noting that the fire was extinguished at 9:10 am.
Initial reports indicate that the fire originated on the 12th floor of the building, which houses the Sales Tax office.
Firefighters were deployed to prevent the fire from spreading to other parts of the multi-story structure. Further details are pending.
